CARDS/SMAQVa project
The target of SMAQVa (Strengthening the Standardization, Metrology, Accreditation and Quality Validation program) the project consists technical support for preparation on all documents for building-up the Biro of Metrology in order with published European laws and to make organization in order European standards and requirements on the field of metrology. The results contain building-up competent body in the field of metrology, providing capacity for making direction organizing and managing with laws and industrial services and also providing capacity for verifying and calibration of the all measure equipment and equipment for examination. The acquisition of etalons and added equipment for equipping 8 laboratories for calibration: for mass, for density, for pressure, for length and angle, for temperature, for volume and flow, for electrical size, time and frequency from the Laboratory Center which is under Biro of Metrology and it’s realized with the program CARDS/SMAQVa1.
With the program CARDS/SMAQVa2 is made training on qualified staff for work in the laboratories.

CARDS Regional 2002 project
Project for quality of the regional infrastructure for the South European countries: Albania-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Croatia-Macedonia-Serbia and Montenegro through regional bodies for accreditation, standardization and metrology and basic support of the infrastructure for quality (metrology, accreditation, standardization, testing- certification –inspection and control on the market)

CARDS Regional 2006 project
Project which is continuance of CARDS Regional 2002 in the area of the infrastructure for quality and is still under going. The part of metrology is planed through realizing PT (Proficiency Testing) and training of the following areas: environmental, protection of the customers and construction. Where the Biro of Metrology is involved in the part of environmental with PT for temperature and mass in the part of protection the customers with PT for energy.
